Description
Willemijn Bouman is a Dutch artist, trained at the KABK in The Hague. She makes large, colorful paintings and woodcuts in a lyrical abstract style. In addition, she realizes applied art in architectural spaces. Her work is influenced by the landscape of Cappadocia (Turkey), where she works partly. Bouman exhibits internationally and her work is included in the collection of the Van Abbemuseum, among others.
