Description
2008 installed Electrically disconnected last year - last year only served as an emergency generator. Volledog working disconnected. 2 points of attention: fuel supply for sticky oil needs to be cleaned. Corrosion inspection of three-way valve for hot water distribution.
Remarks
Perkins diesel engine, 6-cylinder in-line, turbocharged with combustion air aftercooling, individual cylinder heads and unit injector electronically controlled per cylinder; • High quality alternator from the Leroy Somer range; • Auxiliary equipment: batteries, gas exhaust and silencers, fuel tank (due to fuel heating), dual fuel circuit (diesel/vegetable oil), air valves, lubricating oil tank and refilling system; • The generator is mounted together with its auxiliary equipment on a common Closed frame with drip tray. The sound-absorbing casing is also set up on this frame, so that the module can be moved as a whole; • Automatic control and control panel for mains parallel operation/emergency operation and control in function of the heat demand. The delivery includes a control that allows the operation of the installation to be switched on and off remotely, among other things; • RGK (flue gas cooler), MWW (engine heat exchanger), the primary pumps and the entire primary cooling circuit with expansion tank; • Fireplace with a height of 4 m in relation to the concrete base. The Perkins 4000 Series is a familiar engine for EVW, also on the inside. EVW was responsible for the service and maintenance of its installations. In the specialized workshop in Evergem, a 40-person team is at the service of the client. The necessary equipment and expertise as a Perkins OEM partner are available to overhaul the engines as well. Before they are then reused, they are tested on the test bench, all in function of quality (ISO 9001/2000). PRODUCTION FIGURES 2009-2020 • Starts : 2,142 • Operating hours : 6,613, of which 338 on diesel • CV hours : 21,000 • Electricity : 1,382 MWh(e) • Heat : 1,652 MWh(th) • Efficiency : 71.2 % The CHP was on standby as an emergency generator until December 2023. During cleaning work, PPO residue has entered the diesel circuit, causing the diesel pipes, filter and pump to suffer from residue deposits. Because the buffer tank is an atmospherically breathable tank with oxygen-rich water, the three-way valve to the buffer tank is corroded. • Hot water circuit: • Overhaul / replacement of three-way valve hot water to buffer tank • Fuel circuit: • Overhaul fuel pump ppo/diesel - residue ppo • Overhaul / reconnection of the day tank ppo pipe to fuel filter • Overhaul / replacement fuel line from diesel tank to fuel pump - residue ppo
