Nico Vrielink (1958) is a Dutch painter who has lived and worked in Bali since the eighties. His colourful, technically refined oeuvre bears witness to a great fascination for the human figure and art history. In Confrontations with Gauguin, he enters into a dialogue with Paul Gauguin, translating his visual language into a contemporary, personal interpretation.
