Description
Still life by Metten Koornstra made up of simplified forms and bright areas of colour. The composition touches on the visual language of the New Figuration/New Vision, in which everyday objects are given an almost human presence. Koornstra, however, remains recognizable in his subdued, modern-figurative style.
