Description
flawless copy - Graba, pseudonym of Ignace De Graeve, was a Belgian painter, draftsman, etcher and designer of furniture and jewellery. He studied decorative arts at Sint-Lucas Ghent.
His work, often built up in series, stands out for its warm and powerful coloration, with symbolism and expression as central elements. In 1977 he created the series Les Fleurs du Mal, inspired by Charles Baudelaire. He was also a journalist, programmed classical music at the BRT and ran a design agency.
