Description
Ex. Kurt Nitschky German Zundapp KS600 racer. Originally, this motorcycle comes from Kurt Nitschky, a very well-known promising German racer who died too early (34 years old) of a heart attack. Before the war at the age of 19, his racing performance was already noticeable. He had a successful career as a racer and as a dealer for several major German brands. Shortly after the war, more than 25 people worked in the garage. After this, the motorcycle was in the possession of 2 large German collectors. Last year it was completely restored and brought back to perfectly driving condition. Almost nothing is standard about this KS600. The frame used to be closed on the inside to make the frame stiffer and sturdier. For this, holes were made in the frame to reduce the added weight. Used to be done with a pressed frame for racing with several brands. Front fork has been widened for the larger brakes. Large special cooled brakes. Crankshaft is special racing crankshaft (see photo on the left original right the one in this motorcycle. Special longer connecting rods. High compression pistons (1/10). 750cc cylinder heads for the larger valves. Cylinder heads converted to twin spark (spark plug top and bottom). Drive gears replaced by large and sturdy metal ones. Special gearbox with sport ratios. Special rear drive with sport ratio. Large double sport carburetors. Now converted to 12 volts. Electronic ignition. ... Ready to go racing. Unique motorcycle of which there is no 2nd.
