The wool rug is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care • Some materials are very fibrous (such as wool) and pilling can indeed be observed in the first weeks of use: this is normal because the carpet "buds" by rejecting its excess fibers. Remove lint by hand as much as possible and do not use the vacuum cleaner in brushing mode, as this will cause the fibres to pull and tear them off. This break-in will fade over time.
