About this lot
Roland Sips was a Dutch visual artist and illustrator. He was known for his black and white brush drawings, airbrush techniques and graphic work. He made illustrations for NRC, Vrij Nederland and Hollands Maandblad, among others, and published books independently, such as "Fatale Filatelie" (1984) and "Stofomslag / Omslag van stof" (1992). His work has been exhibited in the C.B.K. Hengelo, the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam and PlaatsMaken in Arnhem, among others.
