Publisher: Amsterdam Art Centre b.v. - Print: printed in the studio of master printer Piet Clement, Amsterdam - Landuyt he successfully completed the academy of Kortrijk. In 1954, the first department of Plastic Arts was founded in Belgium: for the first time, art teachers were trained. Landuyt was at the cradle of this department at the State Normal School in Ghent and was the first teacher there. Initially, Landuyt sought inspiration in dreams and delusions. His early work was closely related to the strongly present magical-realist and surrealist movements nationally and internationally.
