About this lot
Gerlofsma completed the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam in the direction of Illustration (1995-2000). Since 2000 he has worked as a freelance illustrator for magazines such as: Psy, Pt-industrie, Chemisch2Weekblad, De Nieuwe, Palet, Hypothese, CAD-magazine, Automatisering Gids, Roteb. A graphic approach has always been important to Gerlofsma, largest shapes set the tone, whether or not surrounded by a tight but sensitive line.
