HAY's About A Lounge Chair Low AAL 82 is designed by Hee Welling. This comfortable lounge chair has a nice high backrest. The base is made of solid oak and the chair is upholstered with fabric. Hee Welling is a furniture designer with his own studio in Copenhagen. He studied at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki and holds a master's degree in furniture design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Now he works in the field of furniture, interior, lighting and industrial design. He makes objects that are simple but usable, with an honest and careful use of materials. In order for his designs to have a unique and strong identity, the objects must have a purpose and a clear visual expression. For HAY he designed the About A series and the Hee (Lounge) Chair and Bar Stool.
