The Western Emerald is also known by the Latin name Thuja occidentalis 'Emerald'. These trees of life are particularly popular hedge conifers due to their compact growth and beautiful appearance. You can therefore see hedges of the Thuja Emerald conifer in many gardens and parks. This Western tree of life owes its name to the emerald green color of the scales. And the great thing is that the hedge plant retains that beautiful green color every season.
