The Picea glauca 'Conica' looks prickly, but is almost cuddly. It has soft needle-shaped leaves. The non-stinging needles are slender and light green. They smell great if you accidentally bruise them. When you decorate it, you will notice that your room will smell like a pine forest. With a large tree you are often a bit further away from it, but you are literally sitting with your nose on the wonderful pine scent.
