About this lot

In 1903, Peugeot built their own engines into the motorcycles using the new Werner method. This means no more clip-on motors on the front frame tube as in 1902 with their first model of motorcycle, but an engine at the bottom of the frame for the bottom bracket. This was invented in 1901 by the French brand Werrner. The engine was supposedly their own engine (2 1/2HP - 239cc) with PF (Peugeot Frères- Peugeot brothers Peugeot) in but was again a Zedel engine ordered from the foundry Gautschi & Jequier S. Graf. This was the new model type C (type B still had the Zedel block). The collaboration with Zedel would last until 1914.
This motorcycle is an older unfinished restoration.
Everything needs to be checked again, missing parts are: belt, chain and electrical wiring with coil.
Without papers.
