About this lot
Set of 3 skateboard decks, very nice for wall mounting. Andy Warhol's Cow Wallpaper was the first in a series of wallpaper designs he created between the 1960s and 1980s. According to Warhol, the inspiration for the work came from art dealer Ivan Karp, who encouraged the artist to explore the pastoral image of a cow. The wallpaper, colored in bright pinks and yellows, immediately appeared at Warhol's shows and was plastered all over the walls of the gallery. Cow (Pink and Yellow) – Skateboard Art Edition published under license under the approval of the Andy Warhol Foundation.
